COVID-19

At CHKA we put the health and safety of our students and Senseis above all else. The club will be run and managed with full compliance with government guidelines and will update procedures as and when they are required in order to ensure that everyone is kept safe. As of the 25th of July, indoor facilities and gyms were allowed to return under strict social distancing and hygiene measures. Karate was also given the go-ahead by Sport England and our governing body (The EKF) as long as we follow their guidelines. Our procedures document explains the 4 step plan to return to normal karate classes and can be accessed easily by clicking the buttons below.

 

In the meantime, we have transitioned all training online using the Zoom video conferencing platform, free of charge to everyone. Current students can find the details of this on our private Facebook page: CHKA video tutorial. 24th August!

UPDATE 31/10/20: Following the announcement from the UK Government on the 31st October and guidance from the English Karate Federation (our NGB), all face-to-face class must be suspended from Thursday, 5th November 2020 to Wednesday, 2nd December 2020. During this period, all classes will be going ahead on the online Zoom platform. For more details please contact James or Robert Steadman via chat, email, phone or one of our social media platforms.
